Job summary

Agiliti is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician I to perform maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical devices at customer sites in the West Columbia area. You will complete documentation for billing and compliance, and liaise with clinical staff on equipment features and operation.

The role requires an associate degree in electronics or biomedical technology (CBET optional), basic computer skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or biomedical equipment technology (or equivalent).
• Basic computer skills and understanding of networks.
• Must hold a current, valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to travel periodically to support business needs.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Alternative qualifications include Equivalent military training or Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET).* Basic computer skills; understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction.* Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license.
