Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced registered nurse to serve as a clinical expert for operating room services, providing education, direct patient care, coaching, and ethical decision making. You will collaborate with surgical staff and leadership to promote quality and safety and to address staffing needs.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in nursing, Georgia RN licensure, Basic Life Support, and at least 2 years of OR nursing experience; advanced specialty certification is

Formación

• 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• RN - Georgia state licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty (AORN) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Serves as clinical expert providing education, research, coaching, direct care, consultation, leadership collaboration and ethical decision making for patients and surgical services staff. Serves as a change agent and promotes quality through the utilization of clinical expertise. Provides clinical care as needed when staffing and/or case load demands. Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leader(s) as needed.
