Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with operating room experience to serve as a clinical expert across the surgical services team. You will educate staff, support research, and collaborate with leaders to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

The role emphasizes coaching, ethical decision making, and acting as a change agent to promote quality. Georgia licensure and BCLS are required, with an advanced specialty certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required.
• Georgia RN licensure and BCLS certification required; advanced certification in field of specialty (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical expert providing education, research, coaching, direct care, consultation, leadership collaboration and ethical decision making for patients and surgical services staff.
• Promote quality through the utilization of clinical expertise and act as a change agent.
• Provide clinical care as needed when staffing and/or case load demands.
• Communicate patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leaders as needed.
