Job summary

Dakota Valley Maxillofacial & Oral Surgery in Minnesota seeks a Surgical Technician to support clinicians during consultations and surgeries, ensure patient comfort, and enhance office efficiency. You will assist with pre- and post-operative care, maintain accurate records, and uphold infection control standards.

Ideal candidates hold a Dental Assistant license or LPN, with CPR certification and OA/DA credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Dental Assistant or LPN preferred.
• Basic CPR Certification required.
• Oral and Maxillofacial Assisting/Dental Assistant Certification preferred.
• Hepatitis B Vaccination & TB Vaccination & Titer may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon during consultations and surgeries.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient instructions.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and radiation safety practices.
• Document and chart patient information accurately.
