Job summary

Coastal Oral Surgery in New Jersey is seeking an enthusiastic Surgical Dental Assistant to join our team. You will support Oral Surgeons during procedures and help prepare rooms and sterilize instruments, with the added responsibility of floating between Toms River, Sea Girt, and Brick locations.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid X-ray license is required.
• Previous experience in Oral Surgery or as a dental assistant is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and safety measures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for oral surgery and explain procedures.
• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures and hand instruments as needed.
• Maintain a sterile environment and monitor patient comfort and vitals.
• Set up treatment rooms and sterilize instruments between cases.
• Manage patient records, scheduling, and coordination with staff.
