ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers is seeking a Surgical Dental Assistant in Maryland. You will support oral surgeons during implant procedures, maintain a sterile workspace, and help manage patient comfort and safety throughout treatment.

The role emphasizes chairside assistance, adherence to infection control, and collaboration with prosthodontists. Monday–Friday schedule with competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have valid dental assistant certification and abide by clinical standards.
• Strong manual dexterity for handling surgical instruments.
• Excellent patient-care and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to oral surgeons during surgical and implant procedures.
• Anticipate clinician needs and keep treatment area organized and sterile.
• Assist with anesthesia administration and patient monitoring as directed.
• Educate patients on pre- and post-operative care and safety.
• Prepare, sterilize, and set up instruments and trays per infection control protocols.
• Take dental x-rays and assist with impressions as directed.
• Support scheduling, patient greeting, and inventory management.
