The program is based in a 13-bed Surgical Intensive Care Unit with a 12-bed Step Down Unit serving a broad range of surgical subspecialties, including trauma, colorectal, hepatobiliary, and neurosurgery.

Prospective trainees should have completed a five-year ACGME-approved General Surgery residency and be board eligible for General Surgery.
