The Cincinnati Eye Institute is seeking a Surgical Coordinator in Blue Ash, OH. You will ensure seamless patient-centered care by managing surgical scheduling, pre-operative education, and coordination with affiliated facilities.

The role requires detailing insurance benefits, providing cost summaries, and counseling patients on finances, Physician Fee schedules, and Eye Surgery Center billing. Flexibility to travel to other Cincinnati offices is expected.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in financial counseling preferred.
• Experience working with insurance preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule surgery and coordinate pre-op education with facilities.
• Coordinate pre-op appointments with patient and caregiver.
• Review insurance benefits, prepare cost summaries, and counsel patients.
• Counsel patients on Physician Fee and Eye Surgery Center.
• Follow up on and collect surgery payments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
