Atlantic Eye Physicians in Eatontown, NJ is seeking a Surgical Counselor/Coordinator to guide patients through their surgical journey, educate on procedures and premium lens options, and coordinate dates with physicians.

The role requires surgical counseling experience, strong organization, and comfort with EHR systems; travel between Monmouth County locations is expected.

• Surgical counseling experience required—ophthalmology experience is a plus.

What You’ll Do:

• Guide patients through their surgical journey with empathy and confidence.
• Educate patients about surgical procedures and premium lens options.
• Handle financial discussions and obtain signed consents.
• Coordinate surgery dates and follow-up care with physicians.
• Schedule in-office procedures and manage all related paperwork.
• Answer patient questions pre- and post-surgery.
• Ensure accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record system.
• Travel between our Monmouth County locations as needed.
