Socket.dev is seeking a highly organized Surgical Coordinator for our ophthalmology practice in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. You will manage surgical bookings and coordinate procedures to ensure a seamless patient experience in a fast-paced clinical setting.

You will communicate with patients, surgeons, and staff; maintain accurate records in EMR; ensure HIPAA compliance; and provide administrative support to the team.

Qualifications

• Healthcare setting experience, ideally surgical scheduling/coordination.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and surgical procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and computer workflows.
• Calm, professional under pressure.
• High school diploma or equivalent; 4-year degree a bonus.
