Job summary

Atlas Healthcare Partners LLC seeks a skilled medical coder to evaluate medical records, assign ICD/CPT codes, and ensure accurate documentation in the EMR. You will collaborate with providers to clarify information and ensure proper coding for reimbursement.

Qualifications

• RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CPC active status preferred.
• 1–2 years experience coding for surgery in hospital/ASC setting.
• Knowledge of ICD and CPT coding principles per AHIMA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Analyze medical information from records and assign ICD/CPT/MS-DRG codes.
• Abstract clinical diagnoses and documents into EMR with complete signatures.
• Provide quality assurance for medical records to ensure CMS/OIG/HCFA compliance.
• Compile daily and monthly reports for research or analysis purposes.
