Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valley in West Jordan, Utah, is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). You will document vital signs, assist with hygiene and mobility, respond to call lights, and communicate changes promptly to the nurse.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program.
• State-registered CNA license required.
• Six months CNA or healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality patient care including comfort and hygiene, skin care, safety, transport, and nutrition.
• Answers call lights promptly and reports patient status changes to the Registered Nurse.
• Documents vital signs, input/output, nutrition, weights, and other patient care performed; reports findings to RN.
• Assists with delegated patient care tasks supervised by the nurse.
• Provides person-centered care with sensitivity and respect as part of a collaborative team.
• Communicates concerns about hazards or errors related to patients to the health care team.

Education
