Community Health Systems is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide patient care under supervision. You will assist with clinical procedures, manage exam rooms, and support administrative tasks to ensure efficient clinic operations and high-quality patient service.

Responsibilities include vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, EKGs, patient intake, referrals, and insurance verification, while maintaining accurate records and patient communication.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of experience in a medical practice or externship completed.
• Knowledge of medical office procedures and patient care techniques.
• Ability to perform care following age-specific competencies.

Responsibilities

• Assists providers with procedures: vital signs, wound care, injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, EKGs.
• Prepares and cleans exam rooms for patient visits and procedures.
• Manages patient intake, referrals, scheduling, and insurance verification.
• Maintains logs and documentation; supports clinic communications.
• Maintains organized workload and delivers courteous service.
