Job summary

The Circulating Nurse at Baptist Health Arkansas is a Registered Nurse responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering perioperative care. You will work with surgeons to ensure patient safety, prepare for procedures, and maintain sterile technique outside the OR while documenting surgeries and coordinating with the perioperative team.

Responsibilities include medication administration, instrument and equipment management, and ensuring accurate surgical counts.

Qualifications

• Must be an RN with an active Arkansas license or a new RN graduate.
• CPR required; ACLS/PALS/NALS may be required in some areas.
• Works collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures.
• Maintain clean and sterile environment outside the operating room.
• Document surgeries, monitor perioperative staff and equipment, and ensure proper surgical counts.
