Job summary

Gillette Children’s is seeking an Inventory Specialist to join the St. Paul Surgical Center Core. This 1.0 FTE role works Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–3:00 pm on-site at the St. Paul campus with a comprehensive benefits package.

You will order, stock, and replenish supplies, perform FIFO and min/max-based replenishments, and conduct regular cycle counts. A HS diploma and a valid driver’s license with 3+ years of driving experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with at least 3 years driving experience.
• Strong knowledge of medical supplies and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Orders, maintains, and replenishes products and supplies in Surgical Center Core and supporting areas.
• Gathers supplies from Storeroom/Warehouse to replenish patient care areas.
• Stocks using FIFO and rotates by expiration dates.
• Checks expiration dates monthly and verifies accuracy before issuing.
• Uses electronic ordering systems including handheld scanners.
• Identifies stock by name and function.
• Performs cycle counts and investigates variances to reduce gaps.
• Receives and ships product and packages outbound shipments as needed.
