Job summary

HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is seeking a Manager Surgical Care Unit to oversee daily operations and staffing of the unit, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.

You will monitor nursing care in line with policies, hold staff accountable for outcomes, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet facility objectives.

Requires RN licensure, an associate degree or RN diploma, and at least 3 years of relevant experience; Bachelor's preferred and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma Required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred.
• 3+ years applicable experience Required.
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• The Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department.
• The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.
