Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a nursing aide-like role to assist in delivering direct patient care under RN supervision. You will document care, assist with daily activities, and help ensure safe, compassionate patient experiences. AHA Heartsaver AED certification is required or obtained during orientation.

The position supports 40 hours per week, with pay range disclosed; benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Paid or practicum experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Other Credentials: AHA Heartsaver AED. Non-Licensed must obtain before end of orientation period

Responsibilities

• Assists with CPR under the direction/supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician.
• Documents patient care activities and patient data accurately using documentation forms and information systems; performs activities of daily living tasks.
• Reinforces transition/discharge teaching and patient self-care activities.
• Performs clinical skills such as vital signs measurement, aseptic technique, non-invasive specimen collection, and other basic care tasks.
• Assists with admission, transfer, or discharge of patients.
• Observes patients for significant changes and communicates progress to the RN.
