Job summary

Surgery Partners Brand is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for its Same Day Surgery/Operating Room in Saint George, UT. You will assist the nursing team in pre- and post-operative care, prepare patient bays, and help with patient transport and turnover to keep the surgical day running smoothly.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of patient care experience, with a current BLS certification. CNA license is preferred and on-the-job training may be provided.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.
• At least 1 year patient care experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; CNA license preferred and willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pre-procedure and post-procedure care under RN supervision.
• Support with patient intake for surgery and prepare patient bays.
• Transport patients to discharge and help maintain daily surgical flow.
