Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required at hire or transfer.
• Preferred to be listed with Texas Department of Nurse Aide Registry.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with direct and indirect patient care.
• Follow direction from the Registered Nurse and Unit Coordinator.
• Perform patient transfers and transport as needed.
• Maintain aseptic technique and safety standards.
