Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center is seeking a PRN Surgical Assistant for the Main Operation Room. The role requires call on weekends and involvement in perioperative care under the Johns Hopkins Health System.
Two years of surgical experience are preferred, with board certification or eligibility and CPR on file. Candidates must hold NSAA or ABSA certification (or equivalent) and maintain CME credits.

Two (2) years of experience in all surgical specialties preferred.
Board certified (or eligible for certification) by National Surgical Assistant Association (NSAA) or the American Board of Surgical Assistants (ABSA), or other acceptable Surgical Assistant Certification (e.g., NBSTSA), and maintaining a minimum CME.
Current CPR certification.
Minimum 46.00/hour - Maximum 46.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
