Job summary

Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center is seeking an Operating Room Assistant II to support patient transport and OR readiness. You will help stock rooms, prepare anesthesia supplies, and maintain organized storage areas to ensure smooth surgical operations and patient safety.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; hospital experience is a plus. This is a full-time day shift with a supportive team and opportunities for growth within Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Operating Room Assistant II

Full Time 40 hours Days

No Call or Weekends

The OR Assistant II assists with transporrting patients for surgery, stocking and preparing the OR rooms with Surgical and Anesthesia supplies, medications and equipment, organizing storage areas and pulling supplies.

High School Diploma or equivalent

Hospital experience or clinical experience a plus.

Salary Range: Minimum 18.06/hour - Maximum 20.87/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
