Job summary

Utah Facial and Oral Surgery is seeking a Dental Assistant – Oral surgery / Surgical Assistant – Oral surgery for in-office positions at our South Jordan and Lehi locations. You will support surgeons, maintain sterile environments, and document patient care while performing preoperative tasks and radiographs.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and precise patient handling in a dynamic surgical setting, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits as part of our in-office team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification (or completed within 1 month of hire).
• Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities, with good judgment and critical thinking.
• Passion for safety and exceptional attention to detail, vigilance, and meticulousness.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Excellent manual dexterity and superior listening skills, especially in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons with precision during procedures and document patient care.

Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous oral surgery experience is beneficial.
• DAANCE certification is desirable.
• Licensed dental assistant status is preferred.
• Radiology certification is a plus.
