Job summary

Paradigm Oral Surgery is seeking an Oral Surgeon Surgical Assistant to support in-office procedures, maintain sterile environments, and document patient care. You will help with preoperative tasks, monitor patient status, operate advanced equipment, and obtain radiographs to support patient narratives.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and attention to detail in a fast-paced surgical setting, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS certification (or within 1 month of hire) is required.
• Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities with good judgment.
• Passion for safety and meticulous attention to detail.
• Basic computer proficiency is required.
• Excellent manual dexterity and listening skills, especially in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist oral surgeons with procedures and maintain sterile environments.
• Perform preoperative tasks and document patient care.

Required Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification (or completed within 1 month of hire)
• Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities, demonstrating good judgment and critical thinking.

• Basic computer proficiency.
• Excellent manual dexterity and superior listening skills, especially in emergency scenarios.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous oral surgery experience is beneficial.
• DAANCE certification is desirable.
• Licensed dental assistant status is preferred.
