Qualifications

• High school graduate with additional training and PA program certification.
• Surgical assisting certification and/or evidence of prior field employment.
• BLS certification required upon hire or within 60 days.
• 2 years of operating room experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures in operating room and in clinic.
• Conduct initial assessment of patients during office visits.
• Schedule diagnostic test procedures as directed.
• Document patient care provided.
• Provide age-appropriate care based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with clinic medical home team and commit to team-based care.
• Adhere to safety, infection control and employee health policies.
