Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN, is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to support surgical procedures in the operating room and in the clinic, while delivering patient-centered care.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited PA program, Surgical Assisting certification, and BLS (within 60 days). Two years of post-secondary PA training is preferred; vein harvesting experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two years post-secondary education in an accredited Physician Assistant program or comparable training resulting in certification.
• Certification in Surgical Assisting is required or can be documented prior to July 1, 2009.
• BLS certification required upon hire or within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Follows safety, infection control, and employee health policies.
