Qualifications

• CSA/NBSTSA/NSAA/NCCSA certification is required (Virginia/Cincinnati considerations noted).

Responsibilities

• Performs surgical hand scrub, gowning, and gloving and assists on cases.
• Maintains sterile technique and checks instruments.
• Protects patient information and follows universal protocols.
• Prepares OR equipment and assists with sterile field.
• Positions patient and assists with draping and catheterization.
• Assists under direct supervision during procedures and with instrument handling.
