Sugar Land Veterinary Specialists is seeking a Licensed Surgical Veterinary Technician – Anesthesia to join our surgical team in Sugar Land. This role supports board-certified surgeons and provides high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of experience in specialty surgery and anesthesia, can manage advanced anesthesia cases, and is comfortable mentoring junior staff. We offer a robust benefits package and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• LVT with at least 4 years of experience in a specialty surgery and anesthesia setting.
• Knowledge about specialty surgical procedures and instrumentation.
• Ability to independently run up to level 5 ASA anesthesia cases.
• Background in training junior staff is desired.

Responsabilités

• Administering local and regional anesthesia and monitoring during procedures.
• Place arterial and central lines, urinary catheters, and NG tubes.
• Perform critical care anesthesia including mechanical ventilation and TIVA.
• Surgical preparation and assisting surgeons during complex cases.
• Client interaction and education during initial consultations and dismissals.
• Bandage application and changes.
