Job summary

Sanford Health in Fargo, ND is seeking an Anesthesia Support Technician to coordinate anesthesia supplies, medications and equipment for surgical procedures. The role emphasizes a safe, efficient environment and adherence to ethical and legal responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year experience in a health care environment preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and strong computer skills helpful.

Responsibilities

• Stock anesthesia supplies and clean equipment.
• Assist in preparation of equipment and may assist with medications.
• Assist with orders, stocking inventory, tests and maintaining anesthesia equipment.
• Clean and disinfect reusable equipment and report malfunctioning equipment.
• Turnaround room in accordance with infection control policies and procedures.
• Maintain clean working environment and assist in clerical duties as needed.
