Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program.
• Current or eligibility for licensure and certification as a PA or NP in Wisconsin.
• Experience in general or vascular surgery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative assessments in collaboration with the surgical team.
• Manage inpatient and outpatient follow-up and assist with surgical consults.
• Perform history and physical examinations, order and interpret tests.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans, educate patients and families.
• Assist in procedures and support perioperative care coordination.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the surgical service.
