Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin's Department of Surgery/Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery (TACS) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide specialty medical care within community hospitals. This 1.0 FTE position located in Menomonee Falls, WI requires 24/7 coverage and collaboration with surgical teams.

Ideal candidates have strong emergency general surgery and trauma experience, with Advanced Practice licensure in Wisconsin and APRN or PA credentials.

Qualifications

• Previous APP surgical specialty experience preferred.
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required.
• DEA Eligibility required.
• Wisconsin APRN Licensure and APRN certification required for practice.

Responsibilities

• Admit, discharge, manage, and provide consultation for surgical patients.
• In-person coverage at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital; virtual coverage for Froedtert West Bend Hospital.
