MedVet is seeking a Surgery Veterinary Technician in Huntersville, NC. The role supports the surgical team with prep, postoperative care, and client communication. A State Registered Veterinary Technician license is preferred and prior veterinary and surgery experience are required or desired. Formación

• Experience in a veterinary setting required.
• Surgery experience desired.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Manage appointments, obtain patient histories, medical record keeping, invoicing, patient discharges, etc.
• Fill medications, enter charges and maintain accurate medical records, schedule appointments.
• Create patient releases, navigate client conversations around treatment plans and financial obligations.
• Prep patients for surgery, including shaving, scrubbing and positioning, assist with intubation and radiographs.
• Proficiently perform blood draws and submit bloodwork.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
• Opening, turning over and cleaning operating rooms, as well as cleaning instruments and wrapping packs.
