PEAK Veterinary Referral Center in Williston, VT is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician Lead, Surgery to support our specialty Surgery service. This full-time, hands-on leadership role focuses on ownership of daily workflow while remaining actively involved on the hospital floor.

The successful candidate will coordinate surgical plans, mentor technicians, and ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experienced Veterinary Technician with leadership capability in a surgical setting.
• Ability to mentor and supervise Vet Tech staff.
• Fluent English and strong communication with colleagues and clients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily surgical plan and case order.
• Manage operating room assignments and Technician coverage.
• Mentor Vet Techs and promote high standards of care.
• Support surgeons with real-time workflow and patient care needs.
• Oversee equipment and implant logistics and scheduling.
