Job summary

Keck Medicine of USC in Arcadia, CA is seeking a Staff RN – Surgery to join our surgical team. This full-time day shift (6:45AM - 3:15PM) offers a competitive pay range and an opportunity to provide expert patient care to acutely ill medical/surgical populations.

The role requires an active California RN license, ACLS/BLS as applicable, and familiarity with the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Possess basic computer skills.
• RN experience in the specific service or department is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, therapeutic care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Care for acutely ill medical/surgical patients and those in maternal child health contexts as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and unit flow.
