Job summary

North Alabama Shoals Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Surgery Manager to oversee the Surgical Services department. This full-time role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care and coordinating with surgeons, anesthesia, and hospital leadership to maintain safe, efficient operations.

The position requires a current Alabama RN license, BLS, and 5+ years of management experience with 2–3 years in surgery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of work experience with demonstrated management skills.
• 2–3 years of surgery experience.
• Current Alabama State Board Of Nursing license; BLS required; ACLS/PALS as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily surgical services operations and quality of patient care.
• Manages department budgets, resources, supplies, and equipment.
• Leads performance improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, leadership, and other departments.
• Ensures compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and confidentiality.
