This role emphasizes compassionate communication, advocacy for patients and families, and accurate assembly of the clinical record to support safe, efficient procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 1+ years experience in a clinical office setting preferred.

Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Pre-op Screening Specialist ensures that the patients are prepared and cleared for surgery via collection of patient information, completion of patient’s medical history, and assembling of the clinical record.
