Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Group, part of the UHS family, seeks a Central Scheduler to coordinate patient scheduling for surgeries and procedures. You will relay prep details to patients and collaborate with the Scheduling Department, reporting data as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of medical experience preferred.
• Reliable, responsible and dependable; fulfills obligations.
• Detail-oriented and thorough in tasks.
• Knowledge of admin procedures and office terminology.
• Familiarity with electronic equipment and software.
• Customer service orientation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients for surgery and other procedures.
• Communicate preparations to patients and across Scheduling Department.
• Gather info from physicians regarding specials and report statistics.
• Demonstrates service excellence.
• Other duties as assigned.
