What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Obtain CPT and ICD-10 Diagnosis codes and other necessary clinical information from practice staff
- Determine operating room time needed for procedures and coordinate scheduling with facilities
- Verify physician credentials at the facility prior to scheduling patient procedures
- Ensure efficient coordination of provider and facility schedules, including meetings and continuing medical education
- Adhere to HCA Code of Conduct and HIPAA requirements in all interactions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office setting (ambulatory surgery center, hospital, doctor's office) preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required per practice standards

- Experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Familiarity with medical terminology and coding practices
- Strong organizational and communication skills
