The UHealth – Department of Urology at SoLé Mia has an exciting opportunity for a Surgery Scheduler 1. The role involves coordinating and scheduling surgical procedures, acting as liaison between physicians, staff, and departments, and providing excellent patient service.

Core Job Functions

• Schedules surgical appointments and manages cancellations, maintaining an accurate daily schedule.
• Prepares necessary paperwork for pre-op appointments and obtains referrals and authorizations.
• Follows up to ensure all pre-op results are available before procedures.
• Informs patients about visit activities and provides surgical facility information.
• Discusses financial responsibilities with patients prior to procedures.
• Adheres to policies and safeguards assets.
