Specializing in advanced acute care medicine, our Midtown location boasts a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, the region's only EMCO program, and a Level III NICU. Our medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
Responsibilities
  • The Surgery Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and scheduling surgical procedures for the hospital's Surgical Services department, Main OR, Olympic OR, and CVOR.
  • This position ensures accurate, timely, and efficient scheduling of all surgical cases by collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary departments.
  • The Surgery Scheduler verifies availability of anesthesia, operating room, surgical equipment, and supplies to prevent scheduling conflicts, and ensures compliance with hospital policies, HIPAA regulations, and patient confidentiality standards.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and surgical procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
  • The Surgery Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and scheduling surgical procedures for the hospital's Surgical Services department, Main OR, Olympic OR, and CVOR.
  • This position ensures accurate, timely, and efficient scheduling of all surgical cases by collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary departments.
