ENT & Allergy of Delaware in Newark, DE is seeking a Surgery Scheduler to coordinate surgical procedures, align time slots, facilities, and resources, and serve as the main contact for patients. Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures for patients, ensuring appropriate time slots, facilities, and resources are available.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgical teams, and patients to determine the optimal timing for surgeries.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients regarding surgical scheduling. Address patient questions, concerns, and inquiries in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Communicate detailed information about surgical procedures, pre-operative instructions, and post-operative care.
• Maintain records of all scheduled surgeries, and relevant medical documentation. Update electronic health records (EHR) and other databases accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure all necessary paperwork, consent forms, and insurance authorizations are completed and submitted as required.
