United Surgical Partners International (USPI) is hiring a Surgery Scheduler for its Midtown Nashville center. The role schedules pediatric and adult patients for procedures and supports insurance verification as needed.

The scheduler must maintain excellent telephone etiquette, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in surgery scheduling and/or medical office.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and staff.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and professional demeanor.
• Thorough knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to foresee potential issues and act proactively.

Surgery Scheduler at St. Thomas Surgery Center – Midtown

The Surgery Scheduler is responsible for scheduling pediatric and adult patients for the surgery center and assists with insurance verification when needed. The Surgical Scheduler must display excellent telephone etiquette as he/she manages calls of utmost importance to providing quality and continuity of individual patient care.
