Job summary

Pinnacle Fertility is seeking a compassionate Surgery RN to support patients through their fertility journey. This full-time, onsite role in Seattle involves pre-, intra-, and post-operative care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Eligible candidates will have an accredited nursing degree, WA RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. The position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a physician-centric fertility care

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Active RN license issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures, perform preoperative assessment, give discharge instructions, and start IV.
• Recover patients after general anesthesia and monitored anesthesia care. Reinforce discharge instructions.
• Deliver direct patient care during pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases in the surgical suite.
• Accurately document patient care and procedures in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Clearly communicate post-operative instructions to patients and families.
• Oversee surgical suite operations, ensuring cleanliness, sterility, and equipment functionality.
• Adhere to and enforce aseptic techniques, quality control measures, and safety standards.
• Initiate emergency protocols as needed and coordinate equipment repairs.
• Mentor new staff and provide updates on any protocol changes.
• Support organizational policies and contribute to process improvements.
• Collaborate with the Surgery Manager to assess equipment and supply needs.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the surgical team.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
