Surgery Registered Veterinary Technician - Part Time

We are a rapidly expanding Emergency and Specialty provider with practices nationwide, offering services such as chemotherapy, radiation, cardiac ablations, glaucoma treatments, physical rehabilitation, dermatology, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Manage appointments, obtain patient histories, maintain medical records, handle invoicing, and discharge patients.
• Prepare medications, enter charges, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding treatment plans and financial obligations.
• Prepare patients for surgery, assist with procedures like intubation and radiographs, and perform blood draws.
• Maintain cleanliness of operating rooms and instruments.

Qualifications:

• State Registered Veterinary Technician license required.
• Previous veterinary experience necessary; surgery experience preferred.
• Proficiency in calculations related to drugs, infusions, and unit conversions.
• Flexible with work hours and capable of working additional hours as needed.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Compensation and Benefits:

Initial hourly range of $30.25 to $44.00, based on experience and skillset.
