Job summary

Henry Ford Health System is seeking a Patient Access Liaison for the Surgery Plastic and Recon service line. The role focuses on owning the master schedule template, managing schedule changes, and coordinating with the Contact Center and RPO to meet patient scheduling needs.

Under supervision, the Liaison will oversee outpatient availability of clinic resources across sites, acting as a centralized resource for scheduling for referring physicians, patients, and others, ensuring consistent

Qualifications

• High School or G.E.D. equivalent; Associates degree/ two years or more of college preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a business office/healthcare environment including scheduling appointments and schedule maintenance.
• Analytical ability preferred for preparing physicians' schedules.
• Familiarity with PC-based applications and strong Microsoft Office skills required.

Responsibilities

• Own the master schedule template for the service line and manage schedule changes.
• Act as a centralized scheduling resource for referring physicians, patients, and others across sites.
• Ensure standardized scheduling practices, protocols, and procedures are followed across the service line.
• Maintain departmental provider templates and master schedules for all clinic resources.
