• Maintains current knowledge of regulatory standards (JCAHO, CMS, IHI, CAP).
• Develops and monitors staffing schedules, budgets, and quality metrics.
• Collaborates with Nurse Manager, Director and Physicians to set patient care standards.
• Ensures safe, caring environment and addresses patient/family concerns.
• Mentors staff and supports performance management and education.
• Assists with hiring, education, and performance evaluation.
• Promotes a respectful, collaborative work environment.
• Identifies opportunities for staff development and education.
