Pueblo, Colorado, Neurosurgery Job
- Clinical Role:
- We are seeking a Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible neurosurgeon (through the ABNS) for a high-demand replacement position with only one existing neurosurgeon. The position offers an opportunity to build a strong elective spine practice in an underserved community.
- Schedule includes 2 days in clinic, 2 days in OR, and 1 flex day. Clinic involves seeing 8 to 12 patients daily, with additional support from 3-4 PAs. ER call is approximately 7 days per month, primarily reviewing images from home, with minimal in-person requirements. Call coverage includes one weekend per month.
- The practice setting encompasses inpatient, outpatient, and clinic environments. The facility is a Level III Trauma Center. The team includes one Neurosurgeon and four experienced APPs, with co-located clinic and pain service, on-site X-ray, and neuro-navigation tools like Globus Robot and Stryker. EMR system used is EPIC.
- This position is not open to candidates seeking alternative shift schedules, long-distance commuters (over 1 hour), or those seeking employment as 1099 contractors or with visa requirements. New graduates are encouraged to apply, with eligibility through 2025 and working toward board certification within 4 years.
