Job summary

OhioHealth Corporation seeks a Supply Chain Coordinator for the Surgery Department. You will oversee daily flow of supplies and implants, using ERP tools and forecasting to ensure uninterrupted availability for procedures.

In this role, you will coordinate with physicians, clinicians and vendors, manage affected inventories, and resolve backorders or recalls, maintaining accuracy and timely delivery to support high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 5 years of medical supply experience and 3 years of procurement or inventory experience.
• Excellent communication and problem resolution skills.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets, databases and word processors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily flow of supplies and implants for the Surgery Department using inventory tools and ERP system.
• Manage owned, consigned and loaner supplies, implants and equipment to support fluctuating surgical caseload.
• Resolve backorders, substitutions, recalls or logistical issues and communicate resolutions to stakeholders.
• Provide consistent customer service to support optimal patient care and unit operations.
• Maintain inventory par levels, perform annual inventories, and ensure item expiration dates are monitored.
