OhioHealth is seeking an Inventory/Procurement Specialist for the Surgery Department to coordinate daily supply flow, implants, and related equipment. You will utilize ERP systems and forecasting tools to ensure uninterrupted availability and support for clinical teams.

The role requires 2–3 years in healthcare, strong math and computer skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment while communicating effectively with physicians, clinicians, and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 to 3 years or related experience in healthcare.
• Must be able to perform basic math functions and computer skills.
• Must be able to understand the financial impacts as it relates to supply chain functions.
• Must be able to work in a moderately paced, ever changing environment.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and written.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate the daily flow of supplies and implants and equipment for the Surgery Department using multiple inventory tools and ERP system.
• Manage owned, consigned and loaner supplies, implants, and equipment where applicable to support the surgical caseload.
• Use forecasting tools and ERP for order replenishment and inventory management.
• Resolve supply chain issues such as backorders, substitutions, recalls or logistical failures and communicate updates to the team.
• Resolve customer complaints, concerns or service failures.
• Maintain supply par levels and conduct annual inventories if required.
• Assist with product backorders, substitutions, expirations and recalls.
• Provide consistent customer service to support best patient outcomes.
