Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Supply Chain/Inventory Coordinator for the Surgery Department. You will manage daily flow of supplies, implants and equipment using ERP and handheld tools, ensuring timely replenishment and accurate inventory levels.

Responsibilities include forecasting, resolution of backorders, and collaboration with physicians, clinicians and vendors to maintain uninterrupted surgical services. Strong communication and numerical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years of related healthcare experience.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Understand the financial impacts as it relates to supply chain.
• Able to work in a moderately paced, ever-changing environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets, databases and word processors (Workday, Microsoft TEAMS, EPIC).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily flow of supplies and implants for the Surgery Department using ERP and inventory tools.
• Utilize forecasting tools and ERP system for order replenishment and inventory management.
• Resolve supply chain issues such as backorders, substitutions, recalls or logistical failures; update the team until resolution.
• Ensure product expiration dates and inventory accuracy in assigned areas.
• Maintain supply par levels and coordinate with Physicians, Clinicians and Vendors.
• Provide customer service to Surgery staff and support system processes.
