Job summary

Skagit Regional Health is seeking a per diem Physician Assistant to join the General Surgery team in Arlington, WA. The PA will see patients in the outpatient clinic, round on inpatient floors, and assist in the operating room as needed.

The role supports a trio of physicians and PAs, with a flexible schedule of 1-2 shifts per week to cover vacations and leaves, using EPIC EMR across the system for documentation and orders.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in physician assistant studies from an accredited program.
• Active Washington State license or ability to obtain before start.
• 2-3 years of experience in surgery is highly preferred.
• Must have active BLS certification before starting or within first week of employment.

Responsibilities

• See patients at outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and first assisting in the OR.
• Provide support to a team of three physicians and three PAs.
• Assist with coverage 1-2 shifts per week to cover vacations and leaves.

Highlights

Qualifications
